While this is not from Kentucky, (It was a special delivery from Hawaii.) this is the last of its kind. This is from the island of Hawaii where the volcano Kilauea has created so much devastation. In fact the bees and the land where this honey was harvested, is now gone, due to the lava flow. Which is a shame since this honey is sooooo delicious. A rich buttery flavor with a just a touch of dark sorghum to deepen the flavor. But, the honey is still fairly light in color. Very smooth. Imagine how it would taste on biscuits! And especially good for honey glazed carrots.
